As I mostly photograph flowers, the wintertime isn't the most inspiring for me with all the rain and mud outside.(yes in Sweden we have rain instead of snow now - hooraay for the greenhouse effect)
But I had this idea to capture what the pretty flowers I normally shoot, looks like in this time of year. Of course I picked like the most windy day of the year to stroll around in my mothers garden. But I got some good shots out of it. This is part I of my Winterflower series. Enjoy! This particular flower comes from a Lavender bush. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
